Well from time to time this comes up so here I am going to address it here.
The game (Kerbal Space Program) is an interesting enigma in itself. Labelled as a "Beta" and sold as a finished product. Modable, yet dont fuck with our code.
It is known as the harry poter of games in certain circles. It seems that it will NEVER be out of "Development" and continue to rake in the bucks.
My planes are designed to add entertainment to it. Reality seems not to important to SQUAD, as the buggers (Kerbals) seem to not require food, yet the engines all require food and air and water. This game is centered around model rocketry. Light the fuse and get away.
The creations sponsored here at the official Skunk Works forum and the wix site are set up to mimic as best as possible the dynamics of atmospheric flight. The flaws are with the game engine and not the components there in.
I started this site because the nerds over at the official forum were in my opinion to damn stuck on themselves. Hiding the "secrets" behind how things are made and hoarding this info for their own glory.
In the near future i will be making the unity and blender files available for download as well. You can then reverse engineer anything here to improve or screw with it.
We here at Skunk Works in no way are affiliated with the KSP forum, the spaceport, or any other Squad Driven site. I encourage "Creative Computing" methods to achive a goal.
